Quality control (QC) is a procedure intended to ensure that a manufactured product or a service sticks to a defined set of quality standards or meets customer requirements. This directly affects the reputation and trust of your business. In every organization, raw material, work in progress and end products are repeatedly inspected. This ensures that nothing goes wrong during procurement, production or distribution.

The quality management module acts as a strong quality control module inside the ERP, helping teams follow the traditional tasks of quality planning, inspection and overall quality control in an organization. With a reliable quality control system, businesses can maintain consistency, reduce errors and meet compliance needs more effectively.

Features

All materials get verified and checked through a quality control procedure supported by our quality control module.

Manage Inventory

There is an option to manage inventory through QC, which needs to be configured in settings. If you have configured that stock should be managed with QC, then as soon as the GRN is received, an option pops up as Pending GRN, for which QC has not been done yet. You can then perform QC on each material. This workflow becomes even smoother when handled through a quality control module, ensuring consistent checks at every stage.

Dynamic Parameter System

For different products, there are different parameters for quality control. So, we have kept a dynamic parameter system in the software. In parameters, we have a system where you can define your normal range either in numeric or in string. With the support of advanced quality control management software, teams can maintain accuracy in testing and streamline compliance.

QC Sheet

With the combination of these dynamic parameters, you can easily create a QC sheet and attach it to raw, intermediate or finished material for QC testing. This helps build stronger quality control systems in manufacturing, ensuring each stage is checked before moving ahead.

Partial Scrap Entry

Sometimes, some pieces are found to be OK during QC tests, but some are not. At that time, you can generate a partial scrap entry in QC. That scrap could also be sold again. This process aligns well with a flexible quality control system, allowing you to manage acceptable and scrap quantities smoothly.

Returned Back

We have multiple options that can be used to pass material fully or partially. If during QC testing the material gets rejected, then it can be returned back. With the capabilities of a modern quality control module in ERP, rejected material can be tracked, retested or processed further with complete visibility.

Document Attachment

QC documents are attached with the material to ensure that it is quality tested. And the best part is the integration of the DMS module for document attachment is available.

Why is a Quality Control Module Required in Any Enterprise?

Quality is an important factor when it comes to any product or service in the business industry. With growing competition, quality has become the key differentiator for all products and services. Therefore, all manufacturers and service providers consistently strive to enhance their product or service quality.

To maintain or improve quality, organizations rely on two key techniques: quality control and quality assurance. A reliable quality control module helps ensure that every product or service meets the defined standards and customer expectations.

These techniques ensure that the product or service aligns with the required quality parameters. This is why using an advanced quality control management software is essential for building a successful business that delivers products meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
